Get found fast with IndexNow

Publishing a page is only half the job — people have to be able to find it. Search engines discover new pages by crawling, which can take days or weeks. IndexNow is a protocol supported by Microsoft Bing, Yandex, Seznam, and Naver that lets a website say "this page is new, come look now" — and your pages use it automatically.

What happens when you publish

  • The moment you save a bio page or for-sale page (in the console or through the API), it is queued for submission.
  • Within minutes it is sent to the shared IndexNow endpoint, which reaches all four engines at once.
  • Each of your domains also serves a small verification file and a sitemap, so the engines can confirm the pages are really yours and crawl everything at their own pace too.

Editing a page re-submits it the same way, so your listing in search results reflects the latest version. There is nothing to set up and nothing to remember — it just works.

How to check it worked

You can verify your pages are discoverable in two minutes:

  • Open https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml — every page you've published is listed there.
  • Check Bing Webmaster Tools: after verifying your domain you can see exactly which pages Bing has indexed and when.
  • Search site:yourdomain.com on Bing or Yandex — indexed pages show up within days of publishing, not weeks.

What about Google?

Google deliberately does not participate in IndexNow (it prefers its own crawling). Your pages still reach Google the classic way — the sitemap plus regular crawling — so expect Google to be the slowest engine to show a brand-new page. Claiming your domain in Google Search Console and submitting your sitemap speeds that up; everything else is automatic.

Good to know

  • Only real landing pages (bio and for-sale) are submitted — redirect links themselves aren't content, so search engines don't index them, on any platform.
  • Paused pages stop being advertised; when a paused page is active again, edit and re-save it to re-submit.
